These USAF patches honor the contributions of the Twenty First Air Force. Their US military insignia captures the blue of the sky and their protection of it. The Twenty First Air Force participated in the liberation of Panama when they performed the largest night airdrop since the Second World War. The 21st also led the largest airlift in history during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, as well as operations in Bosnia and Southwest Asia.
